I am attempting a new endeavor to write a blog about my homeschool efforts. I have one son who is currently 8.5 years old. He is in third grade. What got me to thinking about starting this blog? I read MANY homeschooling blogs…. and I have noticed a theme that most of them while being excellent are geared to the preschool/kindergarten age. This is going to be my attempt of blogging about the older grades.
I love, absolutely love teaching my son… all of it ( or rather most of it) cause we all know sometimes it is hard. Especially those days when they don’t want to “do school” Okay, back to my point, I love seeing that light go on in his head when he gets something, I love watching him read, and even explaining things to me. I think he forgets that — I told him.
So, this will be a blog about a journey — a journey of not just a student learning but also a teacher.
